I am working on a load for my 18" T/C Contender 6.8SPC, and have a few questions.  I am basically working up a hunting load with 120gr Sierra ProHunters, and I have RL15, H322, H335, BL(C)-2, N133, and RL7 to use.  My brass is Hornady and SSA, and I have some brass that uses small rifle primers and some that uses large rifle primers.

Here's my question.  Will there be any significant pressure increase with large rifle primers vs small primers with similar charges of powder?  I know the Hornady brass has slightly less case capacity than the SSA, but some of my SSA brass uses small primers, while the rest uses large ones.

Also, any load recommendations with a 120gr bullet?

Doulbe-check your bullet weight and diameter - Sierra doesn't make a 120gr .277 (6.8mm) bullet.  They do make a 120gr .284 (7mm) bullet.

While I'm sure someone will be along shortly to suggest a load, try this forum:
