I dunno, but the Hornady 68 gr, BTHP match bullets I just got have no cannelure.  But I'm not sure whether Hrndy does or doesn't make them with a cannelure....

Hornady makes a 68 grain boattail hollow-point match bullet that can also be called an OTM (open tip match) bullet, but mine have no cannelure.  It is possible that Hornady has done a special run of them with cannelures however.  They do that kind of stuff all the time.
I think that technically speaking, the term "OTM" is a little more Politically Correct than "HP".

They shoot great in my 1 in 9 rifle with Varget.

I load to 2.25 with no crimp.
