| Does anyone know of a place that sells 5.56 battle pack boxes and bags so one could put together there own battle packs ? |
Good job! |
Keep the lids closed around AssaultRifler, he'll likely slobber all over your mass quantities of ammunition. |

I use a similar method to dryflash. I put the reloaded rounds on GI strippers, but then put them in ziplock bags of 120 rounds each. I pack them in .30 ammo cans with a spoon in each can. It seems to me that I can get 480 rounds in a can. I've considered getting one of those vacuum packing machines and using that instead of the ziplocks, but the ziplock bags are fine if you use the freezer type (thicker than the standard sandwich bags). You also have bags ready for picking up spent brass. I also mark the load data on the bottom of the can lid with a marker. |
I like the vacuum seal Zip-Lock bags. They use a samll hand held vacuum pump and are reuseable. Also, they come in the regular Zip-Lock sizes and are made thick. |

I don't remember exactly how many rounds fit in a 30 cal can on stripper clips. I want to say somewhere in the 450-500 range. Each one of my cans has only one brand of brass case. (I'm a brass sorter) Most of the cans in the picture have 380 to 400 something in them. Be sure to include a card with your load info inside the can. In the pic, the cards are at the bottom of the pic. |
