I was just given another jug of this.  I used it quite some time ago.  But alas I cant find my data for it.
IIRC I should use the blc-2 data which we all know varies from book to book.

I seem to remember that it varies wildly from lot to lot.

I plan on using a starting load of 24.5 grains then going form there.
these are going to be used in a few Autos as blasting ammo with 55s.

Sound safe enough?

cheers and thanks

For regular military loads. Generally...........

WC 844 is used in 5.56x45 NATO
WC 846 is used in 7.62x51 NATO

WC844(H335) and WC846(BLC2) *Not a direct replacement.  Start low and work your way up.

H335™ originated as a military powder, used for the 5.56 NATO, or 223 Remington as handloaders know it. Obviously, it sees endless use in the 222 Remington, 223 Remington and other small cartridges. In particular, prairie dog shooters will find this a favorite, as J.B. Hodgdon has for years! Available in 1 lb. & 8 lb. containers.

BL-C(2)™ is a spherical powder that began as a military powder used in the 7.62 NATO, commonly known as the 308 Winchester. When it was first introduced to the handloader, benchrest shooters and other target shooters made it an instant success. BL-C(2) works extremely well in the 223 Remington, 17 Remington, 22 PPC and of course, the 308 Winchester, plus many more. Available in 1 lb. & 8 lb. containers.

Nice.

Do the points represent a single shot or an average?

Each point was from a 5-shot average.

Well the load of 24.5 operated the action of the rifle and it printed a 3.5 inch group.
great blasting load.

Good taking the kid to the range ammo.
