[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Broken Charging Handle

So my GSG-5 charging handle broke while firing. I ordered a new charging handle from ATI and have found thread from people that have had the same problem but nothing on how to replace the charging handle. Any info would be appreciated.

You need to completely break down the rifle and remove it I think been a while since I have broke mine down. The giude rod it is attached to has a recess and has a screw that attaches the handle to the rod.

I used this video for the conversion kit. Shows how to break it down. Not all steps were shown very well, but I figured it out.

Thank you, that is helpful! These things aren't exactly as easy to break down as an AR or an AK.
