Hello to all, and thanks in advance for reading!

Right before the insanity started, I bought a fixed-stock GSG-522 lightweight, and I am now wanting to change over to either the sliding 'traditional' type stock, or the 'choate-like' side folder...not sure which!!!

Could I please get experiences as to how rigidly they both lock up, and what you think of them - what is your preference, and why?

Thanks again!

I have an early plastic end cap sliding and it is not rock solid but is good for range shooting looks cool. If you want rock solid I would get B&T folding stock pricey but solid.

I tried a factory GSG-5 retractable stock and it wobbled.

I then purchased an ECHO1 retractable stock and it wobbled less, but still wobbled.

I then bought a Classic Army metal endcap and installed the stock from the ECHO1 kit with the CA metal endcap....and it locks up TIGHT.

+1 on classic army.

I like the retractable far more than the folding.

I have both.
