| Chris, I've had a GSG-5 sd for a few months now, I just noted that there was no front sling attachment point on the triple tree and the part did nto come with the small parts in the little plastic baggy that came with the rifle, I was wondering if the part should have come with the rifle or are sd owners just sol? |

Hey,
Yeah, the SD handguard covers the hole where the front mount goes so the sling loop part is not considered 'standard' for the SD version per GSG. It's also too short to get past the SD hand guard if you drill out the handguard spot. Only one I've seen is the one from hotgunparts as well. GSG does not and will not be making any soprt of sling attachment point for the SD, I've had that conversation with them before. |
