I am wondering how you remove the cocking tube housing.

Part #10:

Do you just field strip the gun, remove the fake suppressor and hand guard, and then unscrew the three screws under the hand guard and pull it out?

And another quick question. My friend also has a GSG-5, and I noticed the finish/paint on his upper is a bit different from mine. Both are rather new. Both are gen 3s.

His GSG-5's paint/finish seems to be shiner and "thicker". The markings/logos are a bit more filled in. I am just wondering if this was normal? Seems to be just as durable as mine.

It looks like the screw is a Pozi driv for the cocking handle. If so, does anyone know the size of it? None of mine that I have on hand seem to fit.

Are refering to the head of the little screw that holds on the actual cocking handle? The supplied screw driver that came with the gun is the right tool to use.
