Just wanted to say thanks to ATI for some great customer service.  I called a few weeks ago about getting my extractor pinned.  Chris told me that turn around time would be about 3 weeks.  Ok, no big deal.  They got my bolt on the 10th and I had it back on the 27th.  Faster than expected.

Took the gun to the range tonight and fired 150 trouble-free rounds.  Before the repair I could barely get through a mag without a jam.  So thanks again to Chris and ATI for good, quick service and a good repair!

How much did the procedure cost you? I guess I'll need to do the same.

I am still under warranty until November, so it was free of charge.  Only thing I had to pay for was shipping to ATI.

Well that's good to know.

This may be a dumb question but would do you think doing the screw upgrade will void the warranty? I'm about to do that.

I had the screw upgrade when I sent the bolt out.  The bolt returned with all the screws still in it.  I dont' think there would be an issue with you either.

Hey,

This one comes up periodically.  We do not void a warranty if you use the screw upgrade or other non GSG modifications.  The only time we do is if the non GSG brand parts in your gun cause the failure.  So, if you are expierenceing issues and it's caused by your rrages screw set we will contact you and let you know what we've discovered, how it voided the warranty and what it'll cost in parts and labor to fix.  As we are unaffiliated with the after market manufacturers of the screw upgrade we would replace the parts with GSG factory parts IF they were causing the issue.  Other wise, if you send us a gun that isn't working and it has the upgrade in it, we put the upgrade back at the time of reassembly.  I guess as a sign of how often we see the screw set void the warranty, we have over 120,000 GSG-5/522 models in the country and have had 1 voided warranty because of the screw set.  So all in all, really not something to worry about.
