I can tell you for a fact that the KZ needs a collar to work on a GSG.

There used to be a thread in this section where someone made one by hand by filing down a piece of material. I made my out of a CNC piece of plastic. Without it there is a large gap between the rifle body and the hand guard, and the back cap screw has nothing to clamp on to. The front of the hand guard fit my GSG without modification. On the KZ that location is a cap screw. I do not think it can be a HK pin. Maybe it could be but I bet the hand guard would be pretty sloppy. If the UTG part is also for a real MP5 or clone, I am guessing it would have the same problem but I have not seen on of those parts. |
