SOOOOO I GOT MY SD TODAY, fit and feel are awesome. One question I have is...you know when tou have a round in the chamber of an AR15/M16 and you pull the charging handle back to eject the round??? Today when I was unloading my SD, I pulled the mag, then pulled the cocking handle back to eject the round, but the round stayed in the breach, it wasnt in the chamber, but it didnt fly out like I expected it would. If this is normal it sno big deal I just wanted to make sure there wasnt anything wrong with my extractor or anything.
Thanks to all who respond,
Erik

just a simple FTE. nothing big. could be from being dirty or just messed up extracting.

enjoy the SD, I love mine!

i had a similar problem.  it seems the bullet extractor arm does not hold the shell casing tight enough against the bolt face, which causes the casing to fall as it's being extracted.  I took apart the bolt and filed down the inside of the extractor arm until it would hold a shell in place against the bolt face.  After that, i was having cleanly ejected shells....apparently nobody has addressed this issue before.
