Has anyone tried to disable the magazine safety/disconnect?  It seems that it would not be to difficult to drill for and insert a pin to hold the magazine disconnect mechanism in the rearward position.  It would make it easier to use the rifle as a single shot from a rifle rest for testing ammo accuracy if the rifle fired without the big stick inserted in the magwell.

If you look in the how to stickied in the section, you can just remove it completely. No drilling or shimming. It is very easy.
