This is a GSG, in fact a mighty GSG.

This is a pony with it's tail between it's legs:

Was in the gunshop today telling the owner about the problems/danger of shooting Remy Thunderfarts in the GSG, and the owner
told me his supplier told him that he should cancel his 100+ rifle order, all the Colts are coming back with problems, same for the S&W.

The GSG isn't perfect by any means but it looks like the GSG boys took alot more time to try and bring a quality clone
at a "do-able" price point for most gun folks to the market rather than just jump on somebody else's bus. And to say
the least they found an importer that still puts it's customers first.

Just shot a buddies GSG last Saturday and it was a fairly accurate little gun. He put an Aimpoint clone on it. Definitely better than the irons.

I've got the 2nd gen GSG-5, the new Colt M4 .22, and the new S&W MP15-22.  I've had no problems with any of the three.  The GSG-5 seems to be the most accurate, but the two AR clones are fun to shoot as well.  I give better marks to the S&W for breakdown and ease of cleaning.

Your saying that the Umarex and the M&P 15 22 have issues? Based on the conversation you had with your gun dealer? May be true but.........Ummm..........read the forum you'll see plenty about the GSG too. You're comparing grapes to grapes.

Don't mistake fun factor for quality. I know I poured a ton of money into things I had to get to make my gun run half way decent. Quality is not an accurate word I don't think.

Definition of quality-A modern definition of quality derives from Juran's "fitness for intended use."  This definition basically says that quality is "meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

No, I'm saying dealers who want to make money on the Colt and S&W offerings are being told by thier suppliers to take a pass. I have a feeling they know what they are talking about regardless of what forums are reporting. If the guns keep coming back to the sellers ( regardless of the issue or how easily it might be fixed )  then the sellers are going to stop selling them and the wholesalers are gonna stop ordering them.

I know the Umarex is doo doo, but so far I  have not heard a single negative on the S&W, I was just curious on that.

Same here, but my gunshop guy has decided to go exclusively with the GSG in this catagory.
