I just bought a scope like this marklll
will it fit on a low mount or will it hit my sights and I have to get a high mount... I was actually looking at something like this ebay mount Any other suggestions if this mount wont work? |

I'm not sure I understand your question. Do you mean will it physically hit your iron sights, or will your front sight be in the 'line of sight' of the scope, or will the scope be in the path of your iron sights? Do you want your sight to cowitness?
I would guess no to the first scenario, it will not "hit" your iron sites. The only way to tell if your front site will either be in the way or cowitness, is to try it on. Very doubful it will cowitness, it looks much too high. Yes to the third scenario. It will be in the way and you will not be able to use your iron sights. There are high profile mounts available that allow the use of both sights. Hope this helps. |
