My bud saw a GSG 5 SD at the Fort Worth gun show this weekend, is this a custom job or is this a new import?

Someone on this forum posted a picture of the new 5SD they just purchased and the receiver looked silver. Was that just a bad photo or are they really that color? If so, it looks FUGLY. I want to add one to my collection but only if the receiver is black. Dog ![]() there is a "1st anniversary" titanium edition gsg5, i'm guessing it extends to the sd clone. looks not bad in person |
| Yes, these are the limited edition GSGs from shot show. The black versions should be arriving around the end of the summer at the earliest. Keep in mind that's at the earliest, they may not make it till the end of the year. New imports are always hard to guage. |

M4-Daddy,
The hardguard is rubber and it does come off. It feels just like the rubber on a real MP5SD. The only design flaw I found was that when you peel the rubber off the frame the fake hand guard pins were glued on and they just pop off and have to be glued back on. I just left them off for now. I'll get some pictures of the frame below the rubber and post them up on here this weekend. I was impressed in the frame design. It's solid and I'm sure when the SD kits arrives they're going to be a big hit. Oh, one more thing. I love the new mags. They come with a round counter on the side. It's not that big a deal but I get excited to see new things. That was a nice surprise. I wonder if ProMag is going to update their molds to include the counter. I'll be giving them a call her in the future to see what they say. Julio |

Shooter787 what do you have to do to get a 22 rifle in England
22's are classed as most other firearms in the UK, so you need a license - they are also the only semi auto's that are legal in UK (apart from shotguns) The firearms license in UK are split into 3 diff types: Section 1 - most firearms, rifles and anything not banned Shotgun - up to a mag capacity of 2, so for a semi ud have a 2+1 - higher mag capacity's are then a Section 1 firearm Section 5 - basically prohibited weapons, say an antique pistol that you want to shoot Apart from section 5, a section 1 and shotgun license are fairly easy to get (although hassle - no real change there... )
You have to apply to the police, they inspect your storage and check your reason for owning then will issue the license if happy. Obviously more to it than that, but we are generally not as bad off as is thought stateside - dont get me wrong, theres loads we just are not allowed, but come the zombie apocalypse i'll be doing ok |
