Effectively doubling the cost of my GSG carbine, the thought of getting a suppressor is enticing, but I need to know about a performance trade off. It's a big chunk of change for the novelty.
Can anyone tell me if there is rifling through the length of most suppressors? I'm sure some velocity is lost through baffling, but would I actually be turning my carbine into a longer barreled pistol? I realize the GSG isn't a heavy barreled varmint rifle, but I would be curious what would become of accuracy over range. My average shooting will be about 50 yds at paper and Pepsi bottles. And as an aside, I would be curious as to why yinz guyz have added a can that pretty much cost more than the gun itself???<Looking for justification of the cost of a can/paperwork/gunsmith> Thanks ahead of time for your info and opinions. |
