Back in the days of sighting in our groundhog guns at 100 yds., you would inevitably here a guy in the gang say. "Welp, there's five in one hole" And of course someone would respond "Yeah, but how big is the hole?" With those ole Model 70s and Sakos that hole better be covered with a quarter or you would be buying the beer...(I actually did 3 in the crown of a Marlboro box at 100 once....put the gun in the case and the case in the car..)
I've yet to even fire my GSG, but if that's what I can expect at 50yds, with a 22, standing no less, then I'm sold. I don't know if it's even reasonable to expect much better groups from any out of the box semi auto 22. Just think what you could do from a bench with a scope and some ammo it REALLY likes..... I know, "There's 22 in the same hole..........." Good shooting my friend. |

WOW thats some kinda shooting, I have the carbine with a 3x9 scope on it,and off a sandbagged bench rest I can
barely get a group like that at 50 feet !! If that circle is an inch and half across we have an olympic class freestyle shooter amongst our ranks. Way to go zutmeloda!! |
