Today I took my 2nd gen GSG out for the first time. Prior to taking it out I installed Rich's screw kit and applied loctite to every screw and lubed the rifle. Put 200 rounds of Federal bulk down range and started noticing some nasty ejection problems. About every 5 to 6 rounds, the casing would be half way ejected out the side of the rifle with the other half stuck between the bolt and chamber.

When I got back home, I disassembled the rifle thinking I might find the ejector loose, however, the only thing I found was that the extractor hook was bent up at almost a 45* angle from the body of the extractor and a small gouge in the middle of the hook.

I will be contacting Ray on Monday, but wanted to know if anyone has run accross this problem yet with there GSG's? Thanks.

Ray Caton should be able to ship you a new replacement for your extractor. According to Ray, there is a new design extractor. Call him first thing on Monday and I'm sure he'll fix you up.
