Does anyone make a direct screw/bolt on thread adaptor for the GSG-5 PISTOL to take a 1/2x28 threaded suppressor?  It " a GSG5 pistol" already has a short barrel it just seems like a no brain-er to have one "a thread adaptor"  available that could screw right on......

Not to my knowledge, the barrel still needs to be cut and crowned.

Good idea. GSG should have made the 5P with a shorter barrel so you could unscrew the FH and screw on an adapter.

Hindsight is 20/20

Just get a good machinist friend to make you one, that's what I did and works perfect.  I don't have the exact mesurements.  He just took steel stock and cut a 1/4 inch center hole then opened up for the barrel to fit in. he then turned down the front to 1/2 x 1/2 with 28tpi and threaded the back end for 24tpi. and works great.

I'll try to get pics, but no promises, as its been a busy weekend at work, and don't get off until tomorrow,

Yeah a thread adapter that fits over the barrel would be nice... One that screws into the fsb and then has the common threads for a can on the other end. One that you don thave to get your barrel cut up to use.
