Take my advice, "DON'T" buy the S-Rate 551 fake EO-Tech $85+ s&h!!! I bought one for my GSG-5 or Evolution 10/22, it's a total POS!!! I've bought a G&P 121 fakepoint and couldn't be happier, but with the EO-FakeTech, the reticle looks like crap and the lense is like looking thru a mirror! Oh well, live & learn! teamroper |
Well, like I said, I really like my $35 G&P 121 fakepoint, so I "assumed"(I know what assume means) that the EO-FakeTech would be just as good??? I don't mind spending $300+ for quality optics.....................just not on a GSG-5 or 10/22! And yes, I know what my GSG-5 & Evolution stocked 10/22 cost.........not cheap, I know! I'll either buy an EO-Tech 553 (always wanted one) for one of my SBR AR's and put my EO-Tech 551 on one of my 22LR's, or I might just buy another $35 G&P 121? teamroper |

I have a bushnell holotech on mine it is a good piece of gear, I have an EOtech511 on my AR. Bushnell's are just as good if you don't want NV capability the range of intensity is the same. I got mine at cabela's for $225 out of the bargain cave. Oh yeah forgot to add, before moving to my gsg-5 I had it on my FAL and it took the 308 recoil with no problems. |

Seriously though, go read the reviews for those EOTech 553 replica's I posted. Bad ass. I've been trying to come up with an excuse to buy one but I didn't know of they would hold up to my RRA or Bushmaster M4's so I just keep chugging along with my real steel EOTech 512. They work 100% on a 22LR so I'm ordering one for my GSG-5 I'm picking up tonight. Buddy of mine has one on his $1500 dollar Systema PTW Airsoft M4-A1. |

Here is my friends Hurricane 553 replica EOTech on my GSG-5. I tried to get a clear picture of the green and red reticles but it just wouldn't come out clear. Although for as blurry as the pictures are, the reticle is clear as hell so imagine what it looks like in person. Very very nice. Btw, the Hurricane 551 is not as good as the 553. Not only is the 553 a newer model for Hurricane, it's got some improvements over the 551. Anyway some pictures...       |
