I'm wondering if any of you have come up with a replacement spring for the bolt hold open spring that so easy flies out.  I just got mine, took it to the range once, came home...opened up and what would you know.....no spring....looked everywhere known to man, so not sure if it wasnt there to begin with or if it mysteriously took flight.  I would like to get it fixed quickly so I can be back in regular operation with it.  I have tried several small springs I already had but the size seems to be either to small or to wide.

Can anyone chime in?

I'd email GSG or maybe ATI and ask for a new spring. From what i've heard their costomer service is great and they quickly replace things like that.

Awaiting a response to both of those already, just was hoping there was a more local option that could be had as a replacement.  As in having to contact them everytime this spring decides to take flight will be quite combersome.  not sure why they didnt make another tab for the spring on the top to keep it in place.

I found a bag of small springs , (approx. .187 dia.) at the local hardware store that worked perfectly. I just had to snip one off to the correct length and popped it right in.
