9mm? > GSG-5 > AR15.COM

I just found this section on the GSGs so this topic may have been covered quite a bit. I am impressed with the looks of the GSG rifles, but the last thing I need is another .22lr. Any talk of making these things in other calibers?

I just picked up a Cohair 9mm clone, its nice and i would recomend getting one. I got mine for $1200 at a gun show. But yeah as far as the GSG's, those are made by an airsoft company and i don't think they will be getting into any larger calibers.

LOL- reasonably price clone? This .22 stock was $500! Bump that up to 9mm and you're probably more expensive than the other clones out there- i.e. Vector Arms, etc...

exactly why the GSG5 took off, i think. Its cheap (realativly) to buy, and uses cheap ammo so you can shoot from dawn to dusk without breaking the bank. I mean there is a reason its still hard to get a hold of one of these things, everyone wants one!!!

Correct. No 9mm GSGs for us unless they open a factory in the USA.

Hahah.

An HK94 is $3000+ and a clone is $1000. That seems reasonable to me. Hell, most of the ones in the pic thread have at least $500 worth of junk attached. They are in clone range by that point.
