I am picking my gsg up next week. I am less concerned about the price to chop it or the tax stamp but am more concerned about registering a specific gsg and having it break and need to be replaced. They would have to fix any problem with the registered gun and not just send me a new one. Before I add another SBR to the collection, anyone have any thoughts? Reliability seems to be good enough I shouldn't worry too much..... |
+1 Handle an SBR'ed GSG and you will never look back. I was surprised at how much better it made the gun (looks, handling, etc) |
+1 Now that's all I dream about..... |
Yes. Theres a bunch of discussion about the legality of doing this, but if you are going SBR its a moot point. |

Guys let's face it if your looking to SBR your GSG5 then your NFA Habit will grow that is a given and what better way to get your feet wet. After you go through the NFA Process you'll have a great idea of the Wait Times *Which Thankfully Have Been Shortened by Months Upon Months Since The NFA Office Moved To Martinsburg, WV. Making your next NFA Purchase a much easier process. Again one has to look at the minimal time invested and the gain if you decide to sell that particular NFA Item. A Win, Win Situation All Around |
Tell me about this $30,000 Machine gun you had. Got some pics? I've always wanted one. |

It was a tube gun. I got it got $6500 and used it in WWII reenactments. It shot live ammo very nicely. Very controllable. http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i222/sdacbob/MVC-004F1.jpg I'm using a Stg44 this weekend at the Secret City Celibration in Oak Ridge, TN. |
On my LLC forms I put "Security and Asset to the LLC" On the first few individuals I put "All lawful reasons" Never had one kicked back. |
