Hi guys, I'm new to the site and to the GSG5 community. So firstly I guess I had better say hello. I live in the UK and the GSG5 seems to be quite hard to get hold of at the moment. I purchased my weapon just a couple of days ago along with an EOTECH HWS from SABRE DEFENCE based in Northolt UK. Unfortunately I have not had the chance to get the rifle to the range. I still need to purchase a mount and a RAS etc. It’s not often a go to great lengths to praise a retailer but I wanted to share my thoughts with prospective UK buyers of this weapon. Like most people I don’t part with £400 plus very easily. I like to ask questions then ask them again to make sure. If you are thinking of buying this gun in the UK then I cannot stress highly enough that purchasing it from SABRE will make it a whole lot less hassle and even enjoyable. I was fortunate enough to meet these guys when I picked up my GSG5. They are passionate about what they do and are clearly trying to be the best at what they do. I found them friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. SABRE is a small affair in the UK with a small workforce so try to cut them a little slack and not hassle them too much. They probably won’t thank me for the extra enquiries they may get but I think it’s important to help out potential UK buyers of this gun in finding a good, helpful supplier. If by chance anybody from SABRE does read this then thanks’ once again for all your help. You know who you are. Should anybody wish to PM me regarding them then please go ahead. |
