I'm not sure I would recommend that for everyone else reading this, unless you want to risk cracking your stock.

I really hate the wobble myself, but what else can you do, other than order the folding stock recommended in the older threads.

I fixxed the wobble by adding a little piece of rubber I cut with a pocket knife to the inside of the recess where a collapsing stock would slide in (the groove that aligns the stock on both sides); and pushing the stock on over it. It took a try or two the get the rubber to the right thickness and to get the stock to not just push it down the groove. I dont think it matters which side you add it to, but if it helps I put the little piece of rubber on the left side. I used a piece of rubber from a commercial window seal, but I'm sure something from an old shoe or anything around the house would work. Seems like it was about an eighth of an inch thick, and be carefull, you will have to use a bit of force to get it on there, but don't use so much that you break the stock.

Hope that helps and hopefully I explained it well enough to duplicate.

I was looking at the stock to see why it was loose, to see if I could do anything
to tighten it up. I tried the pin in the stock without the reciever, and noticed a
recess for the pin on the screw side. The pin didn't quite reach the recess.
I put the stock back on and tightened the screw. It was still loose so I kept cranking
down, I figured the stock would break. It finally drew the pin into the recess,
locking the stock rock solid.
YMMV.

You got lucky plenty folks here have broken thier stocks trying to do the same thing!
