Do you find you have a hard time using both your Button and Paddle Mag Catch Release? Here is a very simple modification. But if you are not sure of your ability to put it back together well maybe you might want to think twice. But it is really very easily done.

After you get your GSG5 apart (Pic 1) make sure you don't lose the little spring for the last round hold open lever (Pic 2). Take out your Mag Catch and unscrew the small retaining screw in the semi rounded side. Remove the spring (Pic 3) and cut just 1 1/4 coils off (Pic 4). With 2 pairs of Needle Nose Pliers stretch the spring to .590 going a small pull at a time, because you can stretch but not compress it to take a hold after strecthing (Pic 5). Now lightly grind a flat where you cut the spring off so you have a flat
for it to ride on (Pic 6). While you have your rifle broken down this far go ahead and lightly Polish the Feed Ramp taking care not to remove any metal * No Dremel Tools Here. (Pic 7)

Now you have a Mag Latch you can work easily with the Paddle or Button.

I don't believe you need to break your gun down that far to get that spring.  Just take out the bolt carrier and you can look through the ejection port for that spring..

I did lose mine, but went to a hobby store and found a part that would work from a RC part.. took a long time to find it.. any case it works.

At the same time I contacted GSG they gave me a US contact who mailed me a new spring for free!

You have got the (2) Springs confused. Top Spring is the Bolt Hold Open Lever Spring in (Pic 2) otherwise known as a "Ulosezee". I was talking about The Magazine Catch Spring in (Pic 3) and this is the one that needs shortened. And you do have to seperate the Receiver Halves to get to it. But the rifle was disassembled to SBR or Short Barreled Rifle it to add a SWR Warlock Suppressor and  Warlock Quick Detach Mount.

That is pretty damn awesome!  How did you attach the QD suppressor mount and who did the work?  Too bad I have the standard Warlock.  The QD looks awesome!

So you did thread the barrel.  Also looks like you turned down the 3 lug adapter too.
Too bad you are on the other side of the state from me.

I wish they would make a QD Spectre.
