I got my new GSG yesterday and today I took it apart to clean and make a few modifications. I put some foam in the stock with fishing weights and decided to get the stainless allen head screws to replace all the little philips head screws that hold this sucker together.

Upon removing the handguard and stock I noticed that all the screws were in place but there was not one nut on any of the screws. None in the box, none anywhere. Kind of disappointing, but fortunately I had already purchased replacements. Guess mine was made on a Friday afternoon.

Hopefully, I'll get it out to shoot this weekend.

As much as I like the GSG I do believe a $500 German made fire arm could have been made with better parts. Pisses me off because they know Americans will buy any damn thing if it's uber cool lokking. At least they run well.
