Wow, what a difference a $5 can of "Great Stuff" spray foam can make in your factory GSG-5 stock. The stock and foregrip feeling cheap and hollow were my only real cons of the gun when I got it. One can of great stuff took care of the stock. Now I just need to decide if I want to get a railed forearm. If you want a more solid feeling stock, I recommend you pick up a can and give it a try. I threw some fish sinkers in and didn't have enough to add the weight I wanted so I through in some big screws too. |
Is it ozzing(sp?) out of the sling mount area? Mine did.

Heh, becareful when useing great stuff, it does have a high expansion rate. It can get real messy real quick. |
I just found it out after I decided to fill my stock as well. The brand I found is called "Touch 'n Foam, Exterior Filler-Adhesive" and it was sitting right next to the other flavors of foam. Kind of hard to miss. |
I'm planning to fill the cavity first, then add weights. Some long/heavy railroad spikes can probably be pushed into the foam afterwards. That way, you can add more/less weight, and change the amount of weight after the fact. |
