I picked up this axe at a flea market. I am very novice in axes but it looks like a narrow swamping axe to me. When I removed the handle I saw the inside of the eye that looks pretty hosed up. Can anyone confirm the axe style and maybe a manufacturer? I cannot find any markings on it at all. Its currently under going a vinegar soak so maybe something will reveal itself after 24-48 hours. Also does the inside of the eye look too bad to be used or at least rehung for a collector piece? Is there an ARF of the axe world?      |
