With automatic knives becoming legal to carry in TN as of July 1st, I was quick to pick up my first one. I went with this Protech Godson 710, and I really  like it so far. It's my "dressy" knife for when I wear nicer clothes to church and other similar events.

One thing I would like to change is the inlays. They are white plastic, and I would like to replace them with preferably Mother of Pearl, or maybe some sort of real ivory or bone (anything white with some natural grain to it would work great). I emailed Protech, and they don't have any pearl inlays available right now, and they said that it would probably be a long time, if ever that they do get them in. They were also bloody expensive...$300 for two small pieces. The knife itself didn't even cost that much.

Do any of you know a person or place that would be able to help me out here and make some custom inlays? It's just two small rectangular pieces, so I would imagine it being fairly easy to fabricate. Unfortunately, that's not my area of expertise...obviously.

I recall seeing a Godson with MOP scales, maybe email them?

Your best bet would probably be finding a nearby custom knife maker who uses mother of pearl on a lot of his knives then seeing if he can take care of you.
