Beat your boots Jumpmaster!
Tell me - are the sheaths it comes with worth a shit? And tell me about the wear on the blade Haha. Good times! The nylon sheath is my preferred carry method. It has a plastic/kydex lining inside of it to keep it stiff. As far as sheaths go, it is on of the nicer ones I've come across. The kydex sheath has lots of mounting options, and a little thumb lock/switch(whatever), the lock does nothing to keep the knife locked. But serves as a thumb push rather. It is well constructed. The wear on this knife is from using it to pry open some doors in some far away lands. |

Hey I just bought one of these today. I mounted it to my war belt. So far the sheath seems ok. Its a little bulky though http://images.knifecenter.com/thumb/1500x1500/knifecenter/benchmade-knives/images/BM140SBKSNb.jpg I took that upper loop off the top of the sheath since I had no plans of wearing it hanging from a regular belt. For those that don't know, The back side has molle and a molle stick. I'll take photos of it tonight. |

But it does have some stupid velcro on the back of the sheath. Thinking of cutting it off. |

US Elite, I didn't know you guys were a dealer here, welcome! I have a couple of those same stickers, from guessing your .45 Black Talon question correctly on FB. Glad to see you here, and thank you for the quick review on the knife. -Cory. Hi Cory, Nice to run into you here! Appreciate the welcome. |

Hmm....this brings up another option between this and the Adamas fixed blade..have any time with one of those? Thanks for the review I certainly do. The Adamas have some sentimental meaning to us at US Elite as it is a tribute to the Ranger Battalions. The fixed blade or 375 is a BEAST of a knife. The Adamas is heavier than the Nimravus and feels a lot beefier in the hand, but not too heavy. It really just comes down to how you plan on using the knife for choosing between the two as they are both awesome. We chose Benchmade as our spotlight brand for October. |
