Have you noticed that after using your Emerson Wave equipped knives that you have excessive wear of the pocket where the wave feature catches your pants pocket? I'm interested in the Emerson Journeyman or CQC and the thought occurred to me that deploying the knife with the wave would really chew up your pants pocket.  Have you found that to be the case?

For me its more that the G10 scales really fray the edge of my pocket when I pull the knife out. I haven't noticed any wear and tear from the wave itself. But either way it doesn't really bother me, all my jeans und up beat to hell anyways.

I just picked up an Emerson Journeyman at Blade show.  I've been finger banging it for 2 days. Love this blade so far.

I've gotten wear and tear on my pockets from all the clip knives I've carried over the years, wave feature or not.  None were Emerson's, so I know the Wave isn't the culprit.

I'm a flipper guy who dislikes the wave, but every pair of jeans I have are freyed at the lowest portion of my right pocket from normal clips.
