I suck at sharpening but I've admittedly never spent much time trying to get better.  I'm saving for a wicked edge because I know if I spend that kind of money on it, I will force myself to practice.

I'm in Memphis.  Most people out your way would rather get rid of me than claim me.

How hard is it to set up?

Super easy to set up. Hardest part is clamping the blade. Some thin blades can be a challenge.

I've been looking at something my club fingers could manage, thanks for the heads up on this.

You're better off with an Edge Pro for large blades, but the Wicked Edgr shines with smaller blades.

Got a Wicked Edge for Xmas this year.  It's really easy to use but I've managed to get better using it as time goes one.  I bought a few of the additional fine grit stones and diamond paste strops.  Its pretty hard to screw up a knife with this sharpener.
