I collected these over the last few months. I started wanting a knife to go on my war belt. Then i needed a new EDC. Well hell. I can't stop. None are extrodinary, but all are good for their price ranges. These are all a first for me with these manufacturers. All are well made and i will be getting more of each. Especially the Spydercos.

Now i want a good fixed hunting knife. I am looking at Bark River and a few others.

Model and my cost:
Cold Steel SRK $60, CRKT M16-14ZSF $25, SOG Trident Tanto $50, Spyderco Tenacious $30 and the Becker Eskabar $32.

The SRK is one of the most underrated knives out there and  I have 3 different versions of the M16 knife in 2 lengths.  Good picks.  Not too familliar with the others except for reputation of the manufacturers, but they all look good.  It is a disease.  Now, I'm off to google... gotta find a new 'hawk and a new fixie...

I am in the same boat!

I've always had a couple small folders around but was never much "into" knives. Then i wanted 1 decent quality fixed blade for my warbelt which now has turned into a new obsession/hobby.

Nice collection you have so far! Im sure you're not close to being done!

I also have another on the way, a small neck knife from Kim Breed over at The High Road forum.

The CRKT M16 is a huge folder. Well built. It is Aus-8, but for that price, it is fine. It feels really nice.

The SRK is my best fixed. I have a few others not pictured. It is a very nice knife.

The Eskabar is a very concealable knife. It lays so flat on my hip, when i wear an untucked shirt it is invisible.

The Spyderco Tenacious is a great knife for $30.00.

I bought one for my dad last year and was impressed with it.

He likes it a lot but lately he's been trying to talk me out of my para military 2.
