| I have it and I love it. It needed to get a bit of sanding on the g10 on the corners, and the lock took a bit of time to wear in. After that though (about a week), I fell in love it it and it has been riding in my pocket ever since. Well worth the money and I think I have finally found a knife to end my knife buying. I was changing knives about every 3 months, now I think Im done. |

I got the HEST 1.0 when it first came out. At first the lock worked good, then I had problems with the blade closing when slight pressure was applied to the spine. I contacted DPX and they sent me a 2.0. I got the 2.0 and have been happy with it so far and I havn't had any issues with it at all. Overall its a nice knife and I have been very happy with it.
I didn't know DPX was still making the HEST Folder since all of the knife sites that carried them all said out of stock. I heard they may come out with a version with black G10, but havn't seen that yet. I also heard they may come out with a 3.0 version too. |

I got mine on Ebay for around $165 shipped, but $175 seems to be the norm. I'm pretty happy with mine. I could live without the roto-lock feature, but it's a minor gripe.
Edit: Just checked and the same seller I got mine from has them for $163.99 shipped. Quoted:
