Gorgeous , but I don't get hisntype of Hawk. I do get a small axe head w/hammer, to me practical. If I'm fighting with this things are F'ed!  Please let me know the pros cons.  I'm all for good looking well built blades don't get me wrong just see a lot of these threads....

Yes, Dan's stuff is expensive but you get what you pay for. As for practicality, if I'm using it as intended that means that my rifle and sidearm are spent. I'm more comfortable with a hawk than a large blade so that comes down to personal preference.

Are there cheaper hawks that will do the job, absolutely but I like this one.
