This might be a stupid question as I am a newb to knives.
What is the difference in a military and a law enforcement drop?

I was looking at a Remington Tango I knife that has 4 options.
LE Drop
Military Drop
LE Tanto
LE Clip.

Help?

I've a couple inexpensive reverse curve knives that are real wicked blades but they have a fire department rescue motif etched into the handle.  3" because I've never seen a Military SOP with a smaller requirement and some states recognize this as ok to carry and I have no desire to travel to Hawaii.
I don't want anything that says LE, Military, or anything like that.
I would also preferr to have my shotgun say Special Field on the side instead of Street Sweeper if it was listed as evidence.
On the other hand I do have a Bowie with a nickle plate on it that says Helle's Belles.  I don't normally carry that one downtown though.

Sounds like the point is what they are talking about;

Drop = Drop point (Mil vs. LE dont know maybe length or somthing)

Clip = Clip Point

Tanto = American interpretation of the Japanese Tanto
