I have a couple of their other OTFs

My main questions is on the Halo series does it have a safety. By safety I mean on the other OTF series the blade will run off track if something gets in its way. Just wonderings if the Halo incorporates this into its design as well

No, the halo (like most other single action OTFs)  is under constant spring tension, unlike a double action which basically just launches the blade up the track without constant tension.

That said...its pretty damn hard to open on accident anyway.
