I refinished the previously anodized clip to a nice smooth satin finish till all the toolmarks and blemishes were gone. I was going to re-ano it electro-chemically, but it's an SnG...it needed some torch work. I wanted the smaller tiger stripe like runs, but without a jeweler's torch, my lines weren't fine enough. I had intended to just do the very tip, but the spectrum wasn't quite pronounced enough so I kept going. The camera didn't pick it up, but it runs from electric blue to cobalt and into violet, bronze, then gold. I didn't want much bronze / gold, so I kept them as minimal as possible while still terminating the run appropriately. Fun stuff. The Bernz-o-matic micro torch kits from Lowes / HD definitely work...and quite well at that. On a clip at least. I haven't tried anything thicker.
