1.  Your FAQ section is hilarious.
2.  Your knives are fantastic(as well as your photographic skills)
3.  As soon as i'm done paying for veils, dresses, shoes, table clothes, center pieces, flowers, cake, booze, food,  etc etc etc for this bloody wedding of mine i'm going to buy one(possibly several) of your knives.

The only problem is going to be not ordering one of every model....

Can i make a suggestion?

On your web site it would be helpful if you showed a close up picture of the materials you use.  A 'Materials' page would be great!  Such as the difference between the shadow patina, satin, and desert patina blade finishes.  Also, the difference between handle material and sheath material.

That would give a side by side comparison and people will be able to make decisions more easily based on those.  I know they are all shown in the Gallery, but side by side specifics are helpful.

I found myself looking for different pictures attempting to find the difference between the different colors and styles and not being able to see them side by side was driving me nuts.

Also, standard blade lengths.  Several of the knives didn't list a blade length or overall length and with nothing but a branch behind the knife to compare to i couldn't tell how big they were.

Thanks for the compliments and the suggestions eclark.

I tried to keep it simple when I named the knives that the size would be in the name. A Conquest Mk V has a 5" blade while a Paladin Mk VII has a 7" blade. This also differentiates between say a Reflection Mk V and a Reflection Mk VII. I am in the process of re-writing the descriptions for the knives. Even I can tell, and I'm a moron when it comes to stuff like this, when I was in a typing mood and when I wasn't. When I first put the Reflection Mk V on there I think the description said "A smaller Mk VII, duh." My web wench changed it.

One of the things I'm adding to the descriptions is more detailed specs.

The side by side photos are a good idea, so thanks for that, I will do it whenever I can get 2 of the same model in different colors to hang around long enough.

Sorry to hear you're getting married. If you think you can't buy toys now, just wait.

Aren't you workin gon an 11" blade too?

Yep, the Mastodon Mk XI is going to have an 11" blade, 18" overall and 3" tall. Double edged, with a recurved lower edge. Basically a Reflection on a bunch of roids. I'll have to change that on the website too since I make bigger ones than 9" now, but not 'til it's done.

And I really hate to say it but I have the big-bug now, the Mastodon Mk XI is going to eventually have a big brother too.  Think X and V.

I never made the connection between the V and VI names and the blade length....that makes complete sense it just never dawned on me.  Yeah, some of the descriptions are great, others leave me wanting more.  Honestly though, the knives speak for themselves, you wouldn't have to say a thing and those things would sell.

I don't think you even need two of the same model at the same time.  You just need a picture of each color and material you offer and get close up pictures of them somewhat like color swatches to put side by side so people can tell the difference between them.  This is the quick and easy way.  The better but much more expensive and time consuming way is to get a picture of every knife combination you offer and make it show the changes when a user picks his different options on the knife.  Thats really cool, but when you don't(i'm assuming here) keep a stock of all the different knives, thats really difficult to do.

Meh, the getting married thing won't be so bad...2 years into our relationship she wanted me to buy a motorcycle(yes, she actually brought it up first), then about a month ago she agreed we 'needed' a boat...so i already have most of the toys i want.  She's not so convinced that i need a nice knife like this though...she doesn't understand that craftsmanship like this costs money.
