I have been looking at these and I have seen many pics of 2 different set ups. Both that I have seen are below. I am talking about the 2 vs.1 straps on the sheath. I like the 2 straps over the 1 and all of the listings are the same. I don't know if I would get the 1 or 2 strap set up.

Thanks in advance.

All of the ones I've seen show two straps. I think it's for parachutists to use as a lower leg knife––not sure though.

The first thing I did when I got my ASEK is take both the straps off. I'm not parachuting, and the knife is on my war belt.

I got mine from LA Police Gear for $69.99.

Two strap version makes a good jumpmaster knife.

If I didn't already have a harness and an old air force knife when I graduated JM school about 10 years ago, I might have bought a Gerber.

thanks for the info guys. I will be using it on my BOB and thought "if" I needed to attach it to myself that the 2 straps may provide more attachment choices. Either way I found a new in box Foliage green for just under $75 shipped.
