It almost looks like the scales are part of the blade on the necker.  Quite interesting.

Yea, very cool "organic"'look to the scales.
I wish the blade were as elegant as the handle.

Necker was only $125. bad pic sorry guys. 2.5" 1095 blade. g10 contoured handle slabs. about 5" overall. very handy, good cutter. I might get a 4" bladed knife of his for $195 this week. Good prices for a custom maker. The blade has a nice hamon line that is hard to see in my pic. 1095 rusts very easy. I've cleaned rust off 2x in a week and a half after carrying it around my neck while sweating a lot.
