I have one of the stainless steel ones. It is a very heavy pen. I use it more for layout work in the field as both a pen and a good visible point to sight our instruments on. The point(metal, not pen) is also strong enough to mark concrete or wood. Useful to me for field engineering work, very heavy for carry otherwise.
I also have one of the aluminum ones. It is much much lighter and easier to carry. Both pens write well because of the fisher refills. They are definitely good for uses other than just pens. |
