did I see posted about a month or 2 ago where the demonstrator destroyed a car door with it? Its construction was one solid piece.

Also on another note, how's the Chris Reeve Green Beret knife?

ATC Lagana. I picked mine up from Botach ( I know, I know, but they had a great price) for around $80. The Lagana is surprisingly small and light and is forged with excellent steel. BSW

Me at a match. The stage involved 'sentry removal' before shooting.

After getting the RMJ Shrike, I ended up getting the ATC Lagana from Botach as well.  I had never wanted to buy from them again, but had heard they have changed management and are trying to climb back from being a poorly rated internet vendor.  FWIW during the order process they state that your credit card will NOT be charged until the item ships.

The delivered price for the ATC tomahawk was about $96, so I gave them a shot.  They delivered it within a week, and the ATC 'hawk is nicely made.  In one's ungloved hand the handle is a bit slippery, but wearing a glove it sticks like glue.  The main ax edge is a sturdy convex grind that should hold up well to heavy use.

An even less expensive alternative is the SOG Fusion Tomahawk which can be had from Amazon delivered for $36.48.  For some reason the wife wanted her own Tomahawk!  I'm now done with buying Tomahawks for the time being.

For the OP, any one of the above will pierce a car door or oil drum without much effort.

The RMJ Shrike has a steel handle as part of the head forging with a composite handle molded onto the tang.  The Talon has a steel handle with slabs on each side.  For chopping thru a wall where live wires might be encountered I felt safer buying the Shrike.  For brute strength the Talon is probably stronger.

Just ordered a bunch of stuff from Btach, and had a good experience. Excellent Customer Services, tracking, and yes, they did not charge until shipped. Good experience.
