I've always been fascinated by the wicked shape of this blade. Originally a fixed blade model, it was designed as a personal protection tool for use in Bosnia. Quotes describing it from Emerson's webpage and older catalogs:
"A strong curving razor with only one purpose" and "It is a bit of a "specialized" knife but it works so good in the hand that once you handle it you immediately understand its mobility and function." What type of move or thrust is this knife best used for?

| curved blades are meant for slashing...it could stab well but might break off if used against difficult hard materials. A stab would 'slice' its way inside cutting a larger wound channel. If motion becomes a circular cut...then it would not need to be with drawn- it would find its own way out. |
