i got a gerber  multi-plier pocket tool. it has the Blunt nose plier none locking blades  with both full serrated, and plain blades, lanyard ring, can opener,  bottle opener, Phillips screw driver, and large flat screw driver. it is in ok shape it needs to be cleaned, oiled, and sharpened. Are these collectible or should i just throw it in a BOB ?

Throw it in your bag.

I used to have one of those. It was nice. Got a mean collection of leathermans now.

Be warned. If it's one of the very original versions, it will have a nasty tendancy to bite your palm HARD if you are using the pliers with high pressure and they slip.

Ask me how I know.

I have one of the very first MultiPliers that came out. It now sits in a box unused because my now-missing hair STILL stands on end when I remember palm-bites.

I can relate to that experience-thank God the new ones have a stop to prevent that anymore.
