I purchased a Paul Chen Tiger Katana a year or so back which I have been very happy with. The steele is excellent and workmanship great. I came with an unfinished wooden scabbard and handle. I have tried to refinish it myself and found out I am no artisan, so wound up sanding it back to it's original condition. I would love to find someone who can treat and finish the scabbard and handle and burn a few Japanese characters and words down the scabbard. Anyone out there know any talents?

| Plenty of fine craftsmen over at SFI.....I would look there and post in the Services section ...FWIW...I hope you realize that blade is not meant to be used in the current state.....and by finish if you mean laquer the Saya that kind of defeats the purpose of it...it is left unfinished to breathe and not cause moisture issues in a non working sword... |
