Was just wondering what you guys thought of MOD knives?

I've been looking at two MOD 875s :

The LTT875

and

The LTC875

but not for those prices, I can get them for $115.

Also as far as sharpeners go,

how is this diamond sharpener?

The MOD knives are good knives. I would say they are much like Benchmade and Microtech when it comes to fit and finish. Shop around to get the best price, there can be big differences from vendor too vendor.

Ckeck out the DMT sharpener's, I have been using them for over 10 years and find them to be one of the best I have owned. They work great on the harder steel knives.

I think I've decided on the second one:

how easy would a blade like this be to sharpen with it being sort of curvy?

I got one of these and it has lasted over 8 yrs and sharpened every thing I have thrown at it.

I have the Ladyhawk auto. Beautiful little knife. I was justt disappointed by the small size.

I'm selling it... drop me an IM.

is that thing as complicated as it looks? I'm old school, i've always just used a simple whetstone.

i'm trying to decide whether to go auto or not, i'm leaning towards not, b/c i think i could get it out just as quick as an auto b/c of having to take the safety off before you hit the button.
