My humble contribution.   My field tool on tops, Cold Steel Kukri Machetee (the cheap one) w/home made kydex sheath.  Then moving to the left sweedish Mora , it fits good in one of the pistol mag pouches on my chest rig.  My favorite pocket knife, K-Bar warthog plain edge folder.  On the bottom is a choice of multi tools, Leatherman and SOG.  Then my back up EDC a cheap gerber, and my backup field knife, A SEAL Pup w/ highly modified scabard.

Hmmm, that looks like a Benchmade CQC-7 auto, but I could be mistaken. Sweet blade!

Sorry for the lousy cell phone pics but the real camera is undergoing surgery.

My humble contribution. Yugo Mauser and Garand bayonets. Ka-Bar in traditional configuration (pretty much like it was on Iwo Jima) and Buck short nighthawk. Columbia River m16 and Smith and Wesson SWAT. Since me buying a pistol is legally impossible for another two years and I can't just lug the M4 around all day (oh but how I want to) the sheath knives concealed under an untucked shirt are the best I can manage in the way of concealed carry. A random assortment of victorinox swiss army knives, multitools, and a gerber gaurdian not pictured.

In the unlikely event I run out of ammo, a home invader would most likely see this:

Finished up the new Kukri. It's a serious tool.
Scotchbrited the handle and blade for a duller finish. It improved the grip alot over the factory shiny handles.

The sheath was garbage so I made one for it and it turned out good, but I tell ya, kukri sheaths are a PITA!

Here's what the factory sent.

Got a picture of that in your hand or next to something like a pack of smokes or a beer bottle to give an idea of what the size is like? I have the hardest time telling. I love that knife... definitely going to be my next buy and EDC.

I don’t do too much of the ‘look what I got’ stuff.

But look what I got!  Arrived the other day.

1095 steel, 5.25” blade 0.215" thick, guard, no false edge, handle is long enough that I don't fall off the edge and is shaped perfectly, and it has heft.

This was made from a SOCOM blank, and Mike Stewart at Bark River - actually he told me his son - ground this and modified it to my requests.

It is absolutely exactly what I wanted.

And it will be used - I bought it to use, not store.

Sure do.  I would take a picture next to something more comparable but I don't have the camera.  For reference my hand is 3.75" across the palm and 7.5" from palm to tip of middle finger.  This knife is great it's big but not too big, keeps a decent edge once you work one into it, and is really fast and easy to open.  I haven't put it through anything tough yet just the average daily stuff but it hasn't slowed me down at any point.  The lock is nice and tight no movement at all and the the autolawks is a very nice feature.   Theres also a detent that keeps the lightly locked in the closed position.  I take it apart every once in a while for clean and lube with generic three in one oil.  I have tried three in one and slip 2000 and the three in one definitely makes the blade glide out much faster.  The one and only complaint I have is the pocket clip tends to bend out after time requiring me to take it off and bend it back but thats it for now.  If you do plan on getting one you'll need a T6 and T9 torx bit or screw driver for disassembly if you dont already.
