I am searching for cheaper large camp knife.

some info i have

= Overall Length: 12 7/8"
= Blade Length: 8"
= Blade Thickness: 1/4"
= Blade Material: 420 J2 Stainless Steel 1/3 Serrated
= Handle Material: Lightweight aluminum, rubber inserts, half tang
= $34 wow link

I prefer thicker blades and pathfinder is 1/4" thick , but i don`t know much about steel.

The Colt should hold up well.  The price isn't bad either.  I know that you can get the Smith&Wesson Bulleyes Hatch&Knife combo for little cheaper than the Colt.  The knife isn't as nice, but you do get a pretty decent hatchet with it.  You could go with the Smith&Wesson Bush Hog Khukuri if you like that style of knife.  The blade is designed for some serious chopping.  Should be a tad cheaper than the Colt too.

Yeah, you can't beat the price.  It's not a Cold Steel LTC Kukri (I've got one enroute to me ) but it should suffice for your intended use.  If you end up getting it, let me know how it works for you.
